Inside Koh Talu
Inside Koh Talu
Location: Koh Talu, Phang Nga, Thailand
When seas retreat during Ice Ages, Phang Nga becomes mountains and Koh Talu sits in a fresh water river. Fresh water eats away the limestone far faster than seawater, so Koh Talu is a honeycomb of small caves and hongs. I named the Elephant Cave because of the Pachyderm shaped limestone sitting in a small atrium in the middle of the cave.
